Venom 3 Gets New Release Date, Official Title

Sony Pictures has today revealed the third installment of the Tom Hardy-led Venom series will be called Venom: The Last Dance.

It has also been confirmed that the release date for the movie has shuffled forward slightly to October 25, 2024, after previously being re-scheduled to arrive on November 8, 2024. The film was initially set to arrive this June before production was paused last year during the SAG-AFTRA actors’ strike.

A costume choice spotted in a set photo shared by leading man Tom Hardy earlier this month has fueled speculation the upcoming sequel may be picking up immediately after Spider-Man: No Way Home, but plot specifics for Venom: The Last Dance are otherwise still extremely thin on the ground.

Venom: The Last Dance will star Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor alongside Hardy, and will be written and directed by Kelly Marcel. Venom: The Last Dance will be the directorial debut of Marcel, who was also the writer of the original Venom and the 2021 sequel Venom: Let There Be Carnage.
