July 2024: 4K and Blu-ray Releases
Not a lot of new movies heading our way this month, but The Fall Guy is a fun exception. Other than that it’s a lot of 4K re-releases, like the lesser Jaws films, Election, and the movie that makes plants scary, The Ruins.

August 2024: 4K and Blu-ray Releases
Quite a few 4K re-releases are out in August, including the Bill & Ted saga, Michael Mann’s taut thriller Collateral, and the delightful action comedy Game Night, which put the phrase, “How could that be profitable for Frito Lay?” into my vocabulary. Also out in August is Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, plus some fun horror movies toward the end of the month. Oh, and Watchmen: Chapter 1, which I think looks good but literally everyone else online is mad about.

September 2024: 4K and Blu-ray Releases
Call September the new October, because this year it’s filled with 4K releases of horror movies to get you ready for the spooky holiday. We’ve got classics like Village of the Damned, remakes like Amityville Horror (2005), and collections like all eight Paranormal Activities. Also out this month is Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 1, the second chapter of which got pulled from theaters. I like an old-fashioned Western, though, so I hope Costner gets to make all four installments of the story eventually.
