Lawmakers in San Francisco are scheduled to vote on whether to ban firefighters’ clothing that contains ‘forever chemicals’ known to cause cancer. The city would be the first in the nation to impose such a ban, but alternatives are not widely available. Bigad Shaban of NBC Bay Area reports.
