Almost 55 years ago, the Woodstock music festival became a landmark event in American culture. To preserve memories of the festival that drew hundreds of thousands to a dairy farm in Bethel, N.Y., the Bethel Woods Center of the Arts is collecting oral histories of those who attended Woodstock in August 1969.
