NBC News’ Matt Bradley was among the first international journalists to be embedded with the Israeli Defense Forces inside the city of Rafah in southern Gaza. Israeli forces said they are trying to block tunnels used by Hamas under the Gaza and Egyptian border to smuggle contraband and weapons.
