Los Angeles DA George Gascón announced that the Menendez brothers will be eligible for resentencing after nearly 30 years in prison. NBC News’ Laura Jarrett reports that Gascón cites the alleged abuse they suffered from their father and the lengthy time they’ve already served as key factors in advocating for their resentencing.
